Empire Magazine’s NEW Wonder Woman Information/Pictures!

I was perusing the digital shelves of the internet looking for news in the comic world when Chris Begley of Batman-News.com released an exciting little article that had me clicking with the vigorous interest of a madwoman.

Last Thursday, February 23rd to be exact (that actually might not be exact, to be honest) Empire Magazine released a ton of images from the new Wonder Woman movie, and they’re all as beautiful as to be expected. Not only that, but there was a slew of information about the film that was released as well.

Isn’t she stunning, oh my~

Director Patty Jenkins pitched a Wonder Woman movie to Warner Bros. 10 years ago. However, they were afraid to move forward in a male-dominated market. Zach Snyder had the idea to include Wonder Woman in the DC  Extended Universe when he was working on Batman V. Superman. In fact, Gal Gadot didn’t find out she’d be starring in her own Wonder Woman movie until the very end of the Batman v Superman shoot. “I think they were still auditioning me while I was doing the movie,” she said with a smile.

Jenkins was apprehensive about having her leading lady already cast, but quickly fell in love with Gal Gadot. “I don’t know that I ever would have thought to look all over the world, but thank God they did and thank God it’s her,” she said.
